Working Girl

There have been alot of changes the last few weeks.
1. Dave has a job working at a new dental office in Riverton, Utah
2. We moved (AGAIN) into another rental that is in Lehi (near Thanksgiving Point)
3. Christmas...doing the rounds to all the family members in the area
4. I started my new job at Stampin Up.

Stampin' Up! is a direct sales company that creates an exclusive line of decorative stamp sets and accessories for greeting cards, scrapbooking, craft projects and home decor. I work as demonstrator support agent in the call center to answer any questions or concerns our demonstrators may have about product, customer realtions, and to help them further their business. I wasn't sure what to expect, and I have been pleasantly surprised! How many people do you know can really say they love their job. I can. Everyone there is so nice and the building is big and beautiful. The lunch room is on the bottom floor of this huge atrium with this giant rock waterfall in the middle of it. It's so nice to work in an environment like that.

While I still haven't been converted to the world of scrapbooking, I love making cards. If anyone is curious about Stampin' Up! products or design ideas, check out the website. If the link doesn't work, sorry, you'll have to copy and paste.

Do you have a frigie yet? Call me when you have some free time; I want to see your new home.

How can your post say it was posted at 12:25 pm today when it's only 8:45 am right now?

OK girl...posted new pictures...now let's see some belly already! and it is passed Christmas....I am dying to know whether you are having a Haven or a Benjamin! Have you told Dave yet? How are you handling your new job? Are you passed being sick? I hated working while I was sick...I look back and don't know how I managed it apart from visiting the bathroom every 10 minutes :) Hopefully your sickness has passed!

Hello stampin' girl! Just joking, that was meant to be incredibly stupid. If Dave is starting to work in utah, does that mean you're staying put? What happened to becoming an alamo-ite?

Not that you ever planned on living in Alamo, but I planned on you living in Alamo, and that counts for something.

I don't know that we'll ever be Alamo-ites unfortunately. I LOVED growing up there, and still love Alamo/Danville, but I don't want my kids to think its normal to get a BMW when they turn 16. It's just grown alot and its the same little bumpkin town it used to be. We would love to find a place that is like Alamo-the way it was 20 years ago, and that has been a difficult task. Meanwhile, Dave is working for someone here in UTah, so we can take off whenever we want-no strings attatched. Dave and I also have a 3-5 year cap agreement on the amount of time that we live in Utah. So, to be continued...(stay tuned for postings on future living locations in three-five years.)
