How do doctors know to make their vacations right when we are due with our babies? It must come in the doctor handbook or something. It happened to me with both kids- and they were two different doctors. Both made it, though. Sheryl, you are going to be holding your baby so soon!!!
You made it! And your Doctor is back in town, even better!! Tomorrow is the day! Can't wait to see this little Babcock! Good luck girl! We'll be praying for you.
I'm almost literally DYING to see pictures and hear the story! Please, Sheryl, PLEASE!?!?! Having a baby isn't that time consuming...
By the way, have I told you I'm so tired because I had to wake up this morning at 6, it was like stabbing me with a knife because the sun wasn't even up...I had to jog. I barely got eight hours of sleep...
Newborn babies are my favorite stage, all they do is eat and sleep, isn't it just plain fun?
My husband and I have the most perfect marriage, he always reads what's on my mind when it comes to the kids, and just life in general.
I never want my newborn to grow up, I just love him too much, I even love his spit-up. I love nursing him in the wee hours of the morning. I have only ever felt love since he was born.
My baby sleeps twelve hours straight from the night he came home from the hospital and he only cries when he needs his diaper changed. I want to get pregnant again when he's only four months old! I'm SO excited to do this again. It's so easy!
It only took me six weeks and I was already skinnier than my pre-pregnancy clothes because of the miracle of breast-feeding!
My dear Sheryl, that was my list of the most annoying things people can say when you're in the depths of newborn care-taking. I can't think of anymore. I've heard variations of all those things, and know that you will too, so that was my breaking it to you all in one comment! Good luck, and I'm listening to country music right now and it reminds me of your rule that country music isn't bad to listen to on Sunday. You're the best and life with a baby just gets easier and better every single day. I'd never want to go back to having a first newborn! This is SO long and I'm sorry! Please update us!
I just realized you could think this is the easiest thing in the world, and if so, that's wonderful! And you deserve an easy baby!
I just have to say that your friend Susie is hilarious. When I read her comment, I almost died! I couldn't believe that she was sayhing those things to you...then I laughed out loud when I saw what they stemmed from. I HATED it when people said things like that to me! Susie, whoever you are, you made my day!
Thanks for all the support everyone! Dave is going to help me post some pictures (finally) this week, so stay tuned. I'm really excited to show off my little pride and joy. As far as babies go, I think he's pretty good and not too hard even though I barely get to eat breakfast, lunch, dinner, get a full nights rest, take a shower, get out of bed, etc...SO those with "hard" babies, I don't know how you do it! I'm SO happy to not be pregnant anymore and SO in LOVE with my little man. Susie- you are hlarious!
As an active woman trying to keep up with her active husband and busy kiddos and do more in a day than seems possible, I need sustainable energy, a positive attitude, hope and a little faith. As a result of observing and studying many "green" giants this baby green giant was born.
